I wrote this book as an emotional outlet for my struggle through my sons poor health and Neurodevelopmental challenges. I hope that other parents can read it and cry with me, share my humour in unexpected ways and resonate with things I have felt, thought and failed at. Mostly I wrote this for my very own Firefly, Patrick. I hope that when he is older, he can read back on this snapshot of a very arduous and painful time in his life, and realise why his Mummy was so very very proud.
